Come Let Us Adore Him

The days are flying by filled with snowflakes. The Advent season is upon us and many activities and ideas are coming alive in first grade. We are reading and writing about realism and fantasy. First graders are learning how to take A.R. tests on the computer and doing a great job with comprehension. We have learned about adjectives and resources .Our Math is developing into learning facts of 12 and how to solve story problems. We are learning about the birth of Jesus and heroic and wonderful saints who lived as examples for us. We will be learning about health and nutrition and matter in science. We are keeping Jesus in this season and that is the most important thing of all. May everyone experience Jesus throughout these days.
